Travel L&D Registered Nurse Position in Shreveport, LA

Position Overview

This travel nursing position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients in the L&D department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and infants during labor and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal heart rates and uterine contractions
• Assist with inductions and augmentations of labor
• Administer medications and IVs as required
• Educate and support mothers and their families
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of two years of experience in L&D or related field
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
