Position Overview

As a Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during childbirth. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the safety and comfort of both the mother and child throughout the labor and delivery process.

• Location: Santa Rosa, California
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• Weekly Pay: Up to $2235.80
• Shift: Variable, including nights and weekends
• Duration: 13-week assignment with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the mother and fetus throughout the labor process
• Administer medications and manage pain relief
• Assist in the development of birth plans and provide emotional support to families
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
